No, taking the shuttle from the terminal to the ship is not difficult. When you arrive, luggage handlers will meet your car and take your main luggage from you and deliver the cases to your cabin. You are not limited to one bag so they could take all the wheelie bags if you would like them to.

Hello Gillian. Yes, for our main holiday we will stick with Saga and have booked another Saga cruise for next year - Historic Ports of Western Europe. Have you booked another Saga cruise? Would we book another P & O cruise? Yes, for a short City Break I think it's fine. Yes, we did bump in to Paul and Carol at the last breakfast in the buffet, and had a good chat. If you look at the end of episode 3 I have a still photo of the cruise terminal to the right of the picture. It's the building with the name "Portsmouth" on it. This is where you drop off your bags and check in. The following picture shows the shuttle bus next to the entrance to the ship's walkway. Hope that helps.

@@caroleceres No, the shuttle wasn’t congested, and I seem to recall there was a dedicated space for luggage on the bus. Our hand luggage was small enough to fit between our feet.

Hello Doreen, the breakfast clip was filmed just after 8 am, the others at various times of the day. Yes, it was one of the things we liked about cruising with Saga, there weren't crowds of people everywhere and it was possible to find a quiet corner away from people if you wanted it.

Hello Gillian, thanks for your comment. I was really surprised at the large number of people attending the new comers cocktail party. SAGA must be thrilled.

I received an email entitled "Attention! Please complete now the mandatory information for your trip" It spoke of a new verification process through WhatsApp. I opened this email on my phone, clicked on the link and it took me to their WhatsApp chat. I uploaded all the documents, waited for an agent to check them. The agent then posted a message and an identification icon to confirm that the documents had been verified. This is the message I showed the agent at the airport.
